To enter Argentina there is a reciprocity fee for some countries which do not need a visa: for citizens from Australia, Canada and USA, that has to be payed online prior traveling:
The current fee is
Australia: USD 100.- (multiple entries within 1 year)
Canada: USD 75.- (one entry) o U$D 150.- (multiple entries within the next 5 years)
USA: USD 160.- (multiple entries within the next 10 years)
BRAZIL:If you plan to travel via Brazil and will leave the transit area or have a transit connexion of more than 7 hours, you may need a visa.
CHILE: If you plan to travel through Chile and will leave the transit area of the airport, you may need a visa.
To enter Chile there is a reciprocity fee for some countries which do not need a visa: for citizens from Australia, Canada and Mexico, that has to be payed upon arrival:

Benefits for Tourist, Taxes, Tools and Shooping in Uruguay:
Uruguay money is the "peso" and can be seen as U$ $U $UY or UY$, sometimes can be confused to USA Dollars as is written USD US$ or U$S
Is not mandatory to exchange all your currency to pesos when you arrive, while you have your own US dollars. Most shops and shuttles transportation accept dollars in low nominations bills.

Credit Card in Uruguay
In Uruguay to "haggle over" or "bargain over" (regatear) is not well seen and might be taken as an offence.
Credit cards usually accept payments in 6 quotations, with no more than 10% surplus over cash prices.

Wi-Fi conecction and Internet MAP
In Uruguay the Hotels have Wi-Fi service for a few USD the hour.
You can also have Internet connection or Wi-Fi in the "Cyber Caffes" or "Cybers".
Some bars, restaurantes and Coffe Shops offer free Wi-Fi/Internet low speed service, if you get service from the bar/cooffe.
